Clean This Mess!

Clean This Mess! is a minimalistic application to handle ToDo lists and daily tasks, loosely following the Getting Things Done principles. It is extremely simple, yet powerful and easy to use.
Try it out at cleanthismess.appspot.com. You only need a Google account (like your gmail one) to access it, and you can create a new one if you don’t have it already.
Once you log in, you’ll see the following elements:
- A text input bar, where you can add tasks and things to do as they pop into your mind
- The list of things you added previously (initially empty)
- A list of tags (in the green area on the left) that allow you to filter and focus on some elements only (initially empty).
To try it out, start typing some text and hit Enter. A new element will pop into existence. Add more elements and then try reordering them using the blue handle. Mark them as completed, edit them, delete them or add some tags by entering text beside the ‘tag’ label inside each item.
Tip: you can also add tags on the fly when creating a new item using a Twitter-like syntax, prefixing them with the # symbol. Try typing something like Remember the Milk #milk #todo

Clean This Mess! is developed using the Python and Javascript languages. It is built on top of Google App Engine, a fantastic tool for rapid development, and uses JQuery for its visual effects. Check them out.
