A new Borg version: OpenID authentication

A new version of Borg is available! Borg is the software which is responsible for this whole site and it’s based on Ruby On Rails. Check this link for further info.

Borg now supports OpenID authentication : you can use your OpenID account to authenticate with Borg .

For the moment, the only feature that benefits from OpenID authentication is the comments functionality: if logged in, the comment fields which contain your personal information will be prepopulated with your OpenID credentials.

However, future plans include the development of functionalities that will require authenticated users. The authorization framework is still under planning.

Other info

You can now dowload Borg and try it on your site. Download here .
